Well...truth be told, when I had to pick out a movie to watch yesterday, I was influenced a bit by my scifi obsession... Scifi can't go wrong in my book most of the time. Whether it's good, bad or ugly, I don't care, as long as there's an alien, a spaceship or some other form of weird futuristic something, I'm satisfied. And hey, this is an animated feature! It looks great, the trailer looks kind of promising...
Let me wrap it up in short, without spending too much time on this movie.
+'s: - Very nice CGI! It looks great, the animation is well done, it stays true to the design of the live action movies. Great! - It's not unwatchably bad
-'s: - Badly timed humour. (eg. droids squabling with each other in a nonsensical way and other irritating attempts at "funniness") - Flimsy story, which is way too obvious - The soundtrack isn't composed by John Williams, but by some guy who thought adding electric guitars and stupid choral pieces was a good idea. Choral pieces DO fit, when they're like the Kora, Mata piece in the new trilogy, but this sucked monkeybone!
As I said, it's not unwatchably bad, but just download this and don't spend any money on it.
