The story of how Bruce Wayne became what he was destined to be: Batman
Since I want to see the new Batman: The Dark Knight, I thought I also needed to see this one also made by Christopher Nolan. And well.... I really hope The Dark Knight is better I didn't find this one very extraordinary. It's too basic, cliche, predictable, some things are not too bad but overall, really nothing special.... And the characters and dialogues could have been a bit more deep cause seriously.... I really hope the new one is better!

oh i think not chrisy! when this movie got released it was so different from the other crap super hero movies which wer around that time! may be after watching other superhero movies which got released after this and whcich where made to look like this u mite think that way,but when this came in 2005 it was a winner from the start! even Burton din't show the transformation of wayne to batman (ive forgotten the movie completely, temme if im wrong).

Well I'm not a superhero fan to start with.... There were indeed some good things but the way the story turns is way too predictable And the dialogues.... this is what kills it for me I think. For example, when he repeats to the girl what she said to him: "It's not who I am underneath, but what I *do* that defines me" : Way to cliche for my taste and so were most of the dialogues Then the way it showed is prabably new, I liked the fact that it shows how it begins, but for the rest.... moua
