Went to see LYNCH at the IFFR yesterday, it's a very nice and honest portrait of David Lynch. It's mainly about the creative process of building his film Inland Empire (IMDb) and the way Lynch thinks about creativity. Together with the very funny stories about his time in Philadelphia he tells throughout the film, and the weird, grainy image (long live digital cameras! Razz) it makes for a nice, easy to watch documentary, with enough depth to keep interesting while watching it again I think.

The only thing I didn't like so much was the interruptions by scenes of some girl walking about the screen...it didn't add very much to the film, except for the idea that they had tried to recreate some of Lynch's cinematographic weirdness and failed.

Greatest quote: "Einstein must've had such a heavy load, all those fucking morons!"
