This is the second movie of Mathieu Kassovitz (La Haine) and he also plays in this one as the main actor

Really like the acting in this movie, Michel Serrault (who actually died last year Crying or Very sad ) is astonishing
It was quite controversal when it went out in France cause it is quite violent (although seriously, not that violent, I didn't really understand the controverse)
A very very good thriller yess
