Blood For Dracula - Paul Morrissey, Andy Warhol 1974 Tile

Blood For Dracula - Paul Morrissey, Andy Warhol 1974 Blood-dracula

IMDB

original title: ''Dracula cerca sangue di vergine... e morì di sete!!!''

aaaaaaaaaaaaah yes... in the memorable year 1973, Trash-director Morrissey made 2 historic and infamous horrorfilms, sponsored by mr. Pop-Art himself... Andy Warhol! The first, "Flesh For Frankenstein", wich is MUST SEE for all genrelovers, and this one... "Blood For Dracula", MUST SEE material as well! Twisted Evil

the plot...

well, there is extreme scarce of virgin girls in Transylvania, and count Dracula (who's diet consists of some bizzare vegitarian stuff and -more nesessarily- virgin girlblood) is starving!!! So, he puts his coffin on his car and sets of to lovely Italy, where supposingly virgins come in hurdes, because of the high level of religion there! He ends up with an aristocratic family with 4 -assumed- virgin daughters, and the feeding begins...

the rest is hilarious and I'm not gonna spoil anymore... Very Happy

Dracula is played -in a memorable way- by Udo Kier! No Dracula was, is or will ever be played like Udo Kier played it here!!! Razz Udo Kier is one of my favourite B-actors, and his version of Dracula is DEFINATELY my favourite version of B-dracula ever!

the acting in this trash is... wel hysterically BAD! you will pee your pants every 50 seconds, because the acting is REDICULOUS! And it seems that every single actor has a different foreignaccent in their English, witch is hilarious, especially because the different accents never match the characters! Count Dracula and his aid have a german accent, the Italian people have accents ranging from Dutch to unestablishable and the within the Aristocratical family there are 4 different accents... only one of them being very forced Italian! Mad
Oh, and special credits for Dracula's aid! he has re-invented eye-acting! infact, with his eyes, he performs a case of overacting never seen before! I love it!!! Very Happy you really should see it!

one particular highlight of overacting witch I will never forget, is a NEVER ENDING HILARIOUS blood-vommiting scene, when Dracula sucks the blood of his 1st virgin... who was not a virgin! I damn nearly chocked lauging!!! Laughing

"ZHE BLOOD OF ZHESE HOERS IS KILLING ME" Razz

oh... and there is gratuitious nudity in there! Razz

I loved it, oh yeah! 7,8/10!!! cheers
