Much better than I expected and much better than this very bad IMDB rating is showing! It has this typical Marc Caro atmosphere. If you dont know who Marc Caro is, he was the left hand of Jean Pierre Jeunet in The City of Lost Children or Delicatessen. He created the dark side of Jeunet stories. So yes you can defenetly recognise the style and this is the strengh of this movie: the atmoshere and the visuals are very nice It is also really nice to see again Dominique Pinon and other actors from the Jeunet/Caro world. Also nice to see Lambert Wilson in a very different play than he would normally do with an impressive body transformation. The plot is not very very good, it has its moments but also lots of weaknesses. The acting could have been better as well but forgivable....
O, and it is also partly written by Pierre Bordage, very good sci-fi french writer!
