I've been thinking for a long time about a thread to put in "Other television topics"...

Here it is Very Happy

What television(s) do you have at home?

I've got a Philips without any markings on it to say which model and an Akari I use with my C64...

apart from that, it might be interesting to mention that I have a Hitachi DVD/VHS combi, an Akai VCR and a CCE DVD player in the home cinema rig Smile

with me, you're gona be despointed, I have a second hand Aristona, it is not the best but enough for now Smile reasonable size because until not so long ago, I only had a small Radiola TV (the same I had since I was a student in France Laughing
I have also a Pioneer DVD player and a Samsung combo DVD/VCR but only the VCR works
I dont have any particular sound system but I have to arrange all this cause it is possible Smile

I have a good ol' Sony Triniton! Very Happy

and I have somewhat of a severe dislike towards plasma and LCD...
I actually LIKE the low res TV-image! Very Happy

I also have a Sony DVP-ns330 DVD player, plays all regions... Twisted Evil but no divX or Xvid files! Crying or Very sad

And I have a SEG videorecorder...

and a Samsung 22'' flat monitor on my pc! Very Happy

That's one of the reasons I have so many VHS's as well, the fucked up image, the even more fucked up sound (whoever heard about sound on tape being played back at 3 cm/s being clear cyclops ) it's all part of the charm of vintage media Razz
