Would it be a good idea to open a subforum for directors whose works comprise lot's of great films and have a fanbase because of the director himself and not the genre?

There could be thread inside it discussing Tarantino, Lynch, Ford Coppola, Hitchcock, Coen brothers, Kounen (etc.) movies, instead of talking about each movie in separate threads...there could be news about the directors in there as well...like when the new movies are coming and such...

oh and a separate thing for anime series in the small screen forum? that would be really nice!

I think it is for movies wich will be played only one time.
Or a short tour, like nacht van de wansmaak or something

Maybe an forum for soundtracks is a good idea?

yeah like that, or for really good screenings of movies at my work for instance or at the filmmuseum or something...or film related events (now there's only room for festivals )

Should I call this "Other movie infos" ?

As long as it's okay that Announcements are posted (like in Aankondigingen @ AoA )

I'm giving some thoughts on what could be interesting to create on the forum and I think what could be very nice is to have a seperate part for amateur work, projects, perso creation, also VJ work...
I like the idea a lot but that means: looking for new people so if you know anyone, dont hesitate to share the word (time to do a bit of ad )

I know, I tried to do some more ad yesterday, but people dont come so well, I dont go out so much recently so I can't spread the word better than that but will do what I can

I've got an idea, but I don't know if it's something that everybody's waiting for...so if everybody thinks it's a bad idea, shoot me and I'll never talk about it again

there are very much subforums at the moment, not all of them very active...as I see it, some subforums could be merged...

for instance:

Action and Adventure into Action/Adventure
Fantasy and Scifi into Scifi / Fantasy
Aliens - unclassable and B-movies into B-movies / Unclassable
All the documentaries into Documentaries
All Movie news subforums and Trailers&Teasers into Movie News
All Streaming subforums into Streaming
All Television subforums into Television

This way, I don't get a sore index finger from scrolling down the page all the time to see if anyone has posted something in Whatever

Yes I also think some things need to be grouped
I will give it some thoughts and come up with something during the week

The way it works is by categories: the categories are the main titles: for instance "Forum and community"... then you assign forums to the category but I dont know if you can assign a forum to a forum, or a forum to a category without having it showing on the main screen
