Interesting piece yess

Beautifull cinematography. The all atmosphere is a bit Tarkovsky like but less slow and it is also quite short (80mns). interesting vision of our future, a movie that makes you think. At least it made me think, but I also really like post-apocalypse story Smile

Too bad the end is a bit flat...

Just watched this.

It has some very good moments, but also some bad ones. I don't think you will have such a big "loss" of knowledge in 50 years. Like, it is much more realistic that the old woman would tech the group much more about the past. They lived together for a long long time. So this "your really animals" at the end.. it was one of the bad moments.

I would tend to agree with you. But then again, the movie is about the confrontation between someone who remembers this past modern life and some who dont. It would have been difficult to do this centuries after. So maybe without the old woman it would have made more sense....
Anyway, I also dont think it is brilliant, just an interesting piece for the time Smile

Yes, the year is indeed interesting, before Chernobyl and all the atomic nightmare movies from the 80ies, but in the middle of the cold war, as all these "countdowns" at the beginning showed.

Now i just have to find a history teacher...
